The Tour:  This tour takes us to vineyards, castles, small towns and wonderful restaurants.  During the first part of the week we explore the Roero and Langhe wine region nears Alba.  We also tour the historic center of Torino to further our understanding of this region.  We enjoy some time in the kitchen at mid-week as we learn to make typical Piedmont dishes.  During the second part of the week, we hunt for truffles, visit a grappa distillery, and explore other destinations.  We have also made time to just relax and enjoy the experience of the Piedmont.

• Piedmont cooking experience at VillaTiboldi.

• Hunting for truffles at Tartuflanghe in Piobesi.

• Tasting the wines of the Roero.

• Making grissini at Panetteria F.lli Cravero in Barolo.

 Our stay for the week will be at Villa Tiboldi in Canale.  This villa is a recently restored farm house that is part of the Malvira' wine estate.  The villa contains ten beautifully decorated rooms for guests.  The swimming pool provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding hills.  The restaurant offers traditional Piedmont cuisine, served in elegant surroundings.
