General Information
What's Included
Transportation: We provide all transportation during the tour. We also provide pick-up and drop-off at the nearest airport or train station on the day of arrival/departure. Pick-up is generally at 3:00 PM on the day of arrival and departure is at 10:00 AM on the last day of the tour.
Lodging: We provide rooms or apartments, each with private bath for 6 nights double occupancy in charming Relais Hotels or Country Inns. Single rooms can be booked for a $400 supplement.
Meals: All breakfast and dinners, and some lunches arranged with wine tastings as specified in the itinerary.
Wine: Wine tastings and wine served with dinner.
Visits to local artisans.
Italian or French cooking course.
Walking tours with guide.
Entrance fees to museums, castles, and villas as specified in the itinerary.
Reservations
You can reserve a tour by calling (434) 325-7568 or by sending an Email to tours@thetasteofwine.com. Include the following information: Name, # in party, address, phone #, Email address, and the selected tour.
A deposit of $500 is required to guarantee a space on the tour. The balance is due 60 days prior to the departure date. Mail check or money order to: The Taste of Wine, Rt. 1 Box 509, Roseland, VA 22967
A confirmation notice, invoice, and contract will be provided after your deposit is received. Once your final payment has been received, you will receive an instruction packet and tour information.
Cancellation & Refunds
Tours may be cancelled 60 days prior to the departure date; however the deposit will be forfeited. A 50% refund will be provided between 60-30 days. No refund can be provided within 30 days of departure.

Every effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on this web site and in our written promotional materials.
All tours are conducted in English. However, English may not be spoken at many of the vineyards and establishments we visit. It is our view that communication is always easy and friendly, and this only adds to the charm of the experience.
The Taste Of Wine does not assume responsibility for theft of personal effects nor insurance against injury or loss during the tour. We also reserve the right to cancel any tour due to lack of participation or events beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund will be made. However, The Taste of Wine will not assume liability for costs such as cancellation of airline tickets or pre-paid hotel reservations.
